There is no parking in the parking lot on Christian Holidays from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Please be courteous of the people from the church as they are kind enough to let us use their parking lot anytime except their holidays.

Announcement:
One of our brothers in twin cities, late Br. Najati Abukhadra very generously purchased and donated a masjid in 1976 to the Muslim community. Although not formally named, the masjid took on the name of Columbia Heights Masjid and this name gained currency in popular usage. There is a plaque at the main entrance of the masjid that recognizes this donation. May Allah reward late Br. Abukhadra for his generosity and shower His Blessings on his soul. Amen.

It is very befitting and appropriate to recognize Muslim donors who have gone above and beyond to help and support the cause of Muslims in the twin cities especially when this kind of support was badly needed. Thirty plus years after the initial purchase, Islamic Center of Minnesota’s Board and Council followed due process and decided in separate meetings during the months of January and February, 2007 with Unanimous Vote to recognize late Br. Abukhadra’s generosity and name this facility as:

ICM Abukhadra Masjid

Effective immediately all official announcements and correspondence will be made in this name.
